Air Handling Unit (AHU)

The Air Handling Unit (AHU), crafted by a specialized Air Handling Unit manufacturer, plays a crucial role in HVAC systems by effectively re-conditioning and circulating air. This vital component serves as the backbone for heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning. Its primary function is to intake outside air, re-condition it, and efficiently remove exhaust air while delivering fresh air to a building, ensuring acceptable indoor air quality. The AHU achieves the desired temperature of the conditioned air using either a recovery unit or heating/cooling coils.

Construction

  • We manufacture the unit with a heavy-duty extruded aluminum profile, offering options with or without a thermal break and internal coaming section.
  • The unit panels are filled with pressure-injected polyurethane foam, having a thickness of 25 or 50 mm and a density of 38/40 kg/m3.
  • Multiple options are available for the inner and outer skin of double skin panels, including pre-coated galvanized sheets, plain galvanized sheets, aluminum, and SS 304 and SS 316 sheets in various thicknesses.
  • High-efficiency, AMCA-certified, imported DWDI and plug-type blowers are utilized.
  • Forward curved blowers for basic applications and backward curved for high resistance applications.
  • The drain pan of SS-304 has a dual slope to facilitate immediate condensate discharge.
  • We construct the base frame of the AHU using galvanized steel with die-cast aluminum joints that include a lifting arrangement.
  • We offer Access Doors with die-casting or self-extinguishing nylon hinges and locks, ensuring excellent air tightness.
